Claudia Hediger Jewellery – the goldsmith’s atelier for fine handcrafted jewellery in the heart of Basel’s old town
Be it rings set with exquisite gemstones, earrings and colliers made of precious metals such as gold, silver and platinum or creations with selected pearls – every piece of jewellery is handcrafted at my atelier on Spalenberg in Basel.
Nature’s elements and its organic harmony are the perfect inspiration for my work. Small, wearable sculptures for the hand crafted with clear, geometric lines. Repetitions of simple movements translate to flowing pieces worn around the neck. Jewellery worn is jewellery set in motion – always evolving and providing new insights.

As a goldsmith with more than 20 years of experience I not only craft new and individual pieces but can also lend a new shine to old or broken pieces of jewellery.
- Born 7th March 1966
- 1986- 1990 Goldsmiths apprenticeship in Basel
- 1990/1991 Travel to Japan, Hong Kong, Philippines, Indonesia
- 1992 – 2009 First atelier located at St. Johanns-Vorstadt 16 in Basel
- 1994/1995 Various group exhibitions in Germany and Basel
- 1995 – 2000 Member of Form Forum Schweiz
- 1996 Jury prize of the Form Forum Schweiz
- 1996 – 2009 Yearly exhibitions at the MUBA fair in Basel
- 1996 Exhibition at the Kunst Forum at Schloss Greifensee
- 1997 Jury prize of the Form Forum Schweiz
- 1997 – 2000 Group exhibition at „Blickfang“ in Zurich
- 1998 Jury prize of the Form Forum Schweiz
